Sock Geek SockGeek Says:

The Balega Blister Resist Quarter is the perfect performance running sock for those looking for blister protection and maximum comfort. This quarter height sock uses a combination of moisture managing and friction reducing fabrics with an award winning design that provides a perfect, no slip fit.

  • Dry-Mo (Drynamix Mohair) fabric in the foot-bed reduces friction to the point where blistering is non-existent. Protective properties never wash out andlast the life of the sock.
  • Features Balega's patented VTech Arch Support System that significantly enhances the fit through the arch. Elastic grip construction under the ankle band provides a great non-slip fit.
  • Hand-linked, seamless toe keeps unnecessary abrasions away.
  • Extra deep and reinforced heel pocket optimizes a foot hugging fit.
  • Triple-ply under foot cushioning for impact resistance.
  • Mesh ventilation panels keep your feet cool and dry.
  • Balega's high stitch count makes it one of the softest running socks on the market today.

Great fit, but they wear out fast compared to Hidden Comfort

I've ordered 6 pairs of these socks over the past year and half, and every single pair has worn through in the heel in the same spot. That works out to maybe 30 times wearing each pair, and they only have a 1-year warranty.

Meanwhile, I still have low cut Hidden Comfort socks from at least 6 years ago that have no holes (but have lost quite a bit of elasticity around the ankle). At $20/pair retail, these socks are way too expensive for such a short lifespan, despite being comfortable and fitting well.

Balega socks

Had previously purchased the Balega quarter Enduro socks, but was disappointed with the thickness. The blister resist is plusher.

Cheaper and Cheaper Material

I have been purchasing these socks for a very long time and compared to the last pairs the material of these socks are getting worse and they are not holding up as well anymore. Very disappointing at this price.
