I get it now.

I couldn't understand why you'd want $20 socks when they aren't silky or soft. But, running in these, they sort of disappear. No more friction. No more sweaty feel. They stay in place and never stink bc of the merino. They seem like they'll last forever and, if they don't, I'm covered. Oh, and they have a quirky cool look.
