Maximum Protection Running socks are made using the patented Blister Guard ^® system. This system incorporates friction free PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylene) infused fibers throughout the entire foot area of the sock. PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid material. PTFE and Drymax fibers blended together provide Maximum Protection for your feet. This scientific approach keeps feet dry and the friction between the skin and sock low.

Runners who wear Maximum Protection Run socks will have cooler, drier, more comfortable feet, while significantly lowering the chance of getting blisters. Designed with dense padding, as opposed to thick padding, as it protects feet without adversely affecting the fit of the shoes. Ideal in cool to warm conditions, keeping feet dry, comfortable and odor free. Flat toe seam, vented arch band, Y-heel optimizes the fit, and mesh across the top of the foot maximizes ventilation. Reinforced at all of the key spots to deliver long-term fit and durability.

One of Sock Geek's more pricey socks but well worth the price if you are having issues with blisters and other foot/toe abrasions.
